THIS MOUNT AND MAGELLAN II IS SOLD A very nice GEM that doesn't cost a fortune. Equipped with Magellan II computer-corrector (see Meade website for more details). Has nice custom handbox holder, solid brass clamp rings on pier, stainless steel arm. Clamp rings could also hold tray instead of arm. (You provide tray). Saddle has been milled and drilled for standard tube rings. Stainless steel counterweight in photo has been sold, but 11# custom brass cw included. Also has nice turnbuckles added to help in polar alignment. I want $400 plus shipping for mount alone, and $340 plus shipping for Magellan II alone (including custom handbox arm). Buy both together and I'll take $720 plus shipping. Spare declination motor/tangent arm included, more photos available on request. Make me another offer if you want, please include name, address & phone number. PAYPAL ok, money order also. All instructions & manuals included. This is American made and solid, you might think of it as a poor man's G-8. I used a 10" sonotube newtonian on it just fine, but bought a bigger truss tube dob. Would consider trades for nice equatorial platform or 2" eyepieces - whatcha got?
