I'm thinking about selling my scope because I don't use it much lately and its taking up too much space. The scope is in wonderful condition and even the original starhopper stickers on the side of the base are still perfect. I don't want to go through the hassel of shipping (I do have the original boxes but they're rather large) so a sale near Chesapeake, VA is preferred though I will drive a reasonable distance.

The scope comes with 10mm, 20mm, and 25mm Celestron Plossl eyepieces, a stellarview red dot finder, and an EZcollimator. There is also an attachment I made for the back of the scope that keeps out stray light but this can be left off if you don't like it. I also use a combination of CDs and petroleum jelly to make the motion extra smooth but again this can be left off if you don't like it (though everyone that has used my scope comments on how wonderful this addition is).

Make me an offer at about $400, best offer gets the scope. Oh, and since space is my main concern (though as a college student I could always use the cash!) I would be more than willing to trade for an 8" SCT in equally good condition. --If you need to see a picture I can get you one. If you're local enough we can arange for you to see it in person and even try it out before you decide.--
