Classic Celestron C90 Astro, 90mm f/11 Mak Cassegrain with “one-armed bandit” motor-driven mount, 5x24 finder, .96” diagonal and 30mm Celestron .96” Kellner, rare C90 Astro Wedge, and classic Celestron “locking triangles” tripod for the highest stiffness/weight ratio possible. All good condition except some chrome pitting on the tripod legs (see picture --- Simichrome, Wesley’s wax and elbow grease will resolve that!) No plastic here except for the lens cap and focusing ring! And C90’s have nice images --- I used my old one to see the day-to-day changes on Jupiter when Shoemaker-Levy crashed into it. Note that the ¼-20 mounting pad is not used in mounting the C90 to the “fork” so that you can flip the tube, putting the pad on top, and use it as a camera tracking platform. (I used to do this a lot with a Meade 2045 – this scope should also work well that way.) I never had the C90/8/11/14 three-prong 110 VAC power cord, but they are available for $10. (I can give you the web address.)
Asking $390 plus shipping for everything, or will sell separately: $340 for the scope and mount or $110 for the wedge/tripod, plus shipping. Money Orders only.
(Why am I selling? Bought a B&L 6” SCT at a bad time, bills-wise. Something has to go! And I can still sneak the 6” on the plane. You take THIS one to Florida!)
