7" Teleport - Very Rare. This is the original prototype. Since then 10 others have been built. Zambuto optics - extremely portable scope. This scope is light (weighs 18 to 20 lbs) and small 9 1/4" X 11" X 21". Setup takes about 3 minutes to extend the secondary with the built in bogen tripod legs. It comes with laser collimator that fits in the scope box, a rigel red dot pointer that also fits in the scope Additionally there is a small drawer for eyepieces or accessories.
When fully extended the eyepiece is about 41" at Zenith. It is 48" with the clever collapsible tri-stand, which is also included. The optics are Zambuto -- absolutely superb - check out review by Todd Gross, as well as my own which is also posted on his site.

Includes own soft padded carry on bag, so you can easily pack the scope to carry on Airline.

Operation is very smooth. This is perhaps the finest portable telescope made. Tom informs me that he's pencilled in the next run of 7" Teleports for 2003. So the opportunity to get a 7" Teleport is not likely to come up again for 15 months. The only reason I'm selling is because I will soon be taking delivery on the Teleport 10" -- no need to have both.

Scope has fan and secondary heater. It also has DSC hookups. You'll need your own Sky Commander or other DSC module.

Price is best offer over $2500 plus Buyer pays shipping. But frankly I'd rather someone take personal delivery of this scope in the SF Bay Area.
