Hi folks,
Up for sale is one of my spare Brunton Pocket transit compasses ( 0-360 Azimuth version) in Mint Condition!
Comes with ORIGINAL BRUNTON leather belt case as pictured.
Direct read compases allow you to adjust for magnetic declination so that your compasss pointer reads true north for your location at all times!
***Great for pointing uour eq mount to true north while setting up in the daytime!***
The clinometer also can help with alitude readings.
I also often use these when teaching geology in the field, they are vey useful!
I've also been a fan of collecting these a have a unique history over the past 140 or so years.
This one is from the mid 2000's and is the much more desirable INTERNATIONAL version with induction dampening to steady the compass needle at latitudes all over the world, not just a specific general location.
