This Japanese-made Vixen A80SS makes a very nice compact travel scope. The dew shield is not retractable but can be reversed for ultra portability (overall OTA length only 12" weight = 5 lbs). The optics in this one are much better corrected than your typical Chinese 80mm f/5 short tubes, providing a rich field which is also quite flat. CA is good for a short achromat. Solid build quality and smooth focuser.
Very clean optics and coating (some minor dusts). OTA has some minor scuff marks and small scratches but nothing significant. Comes with front cap, Vixen 2" flip mirror assembly w/1.25" EP holders, and a Vixen dovetail bar.
