Up for sale is an excellent condition TEC 180FL. This is one of the highest contrast scopes I've ever looked through - these scopes have a reputation and it is well-earned. Scope is in very good/excellent condition with a few very minor handling marks on the body and great glass (just some light dust as you can see - no marks). Sale includes the following:
TEC180FL OTA and hard molded travel case with wheels
TEC rings
Top and bottom losmandy D plates
Losmandy D QR counterweights to help balance the OTA forward
Scopetote handles custom made for the scope
OPTEC quicksync FTX40 focus motor (this toggles between manual auto quickly and doesn't require an extra control box)
Astro-physics rear 3.5" back and 2" adapter - this allows the use of AP accessories
Original TEC/Starlight 2" rear cullet.
SEPARATE:
I also have the Astro-physics 180F735FF flattener that AP made specifically for this scope. This was a limited run item and no longer available. It optimizes the field for modern day CMOS cameras with small pixels. I will offer it to the scope buyer for $800. If the scope buyer passes, it'll be available separate for $1000.
Price for scope is net to me - you cover any fees associated with payment and shipping costs. I am willing to drive up to 400 miles from the Denver/Colorado Springs area to meet up the buyer for a handoff.
