Takahashi TOA-130F in excellent optical condition. D=130mm, focal length=1000mm. The optics in this Takahashi scope are outstanding. This scope is ideal for astrophotography but I'm more into visual observing. The tube has quite a few scratches on it so if you are looking for a scope in mint cosmetic condition this scope is not for you. If you want a great scope with great optics, read on.
Comparing the Takahashi to my f/8 AP130 with a 9mm Nagler eyepiece, the double-double star epsilon Lyrae is completely split with better separation and darker space between the closer stars in the Takahashi. The gold and blue colors of Albireo are more striking in the Tak than in the Astro-physics scope.
The scope rings are very high quality as is the dovetail rail. The focuser is very smooth and solid. The scope currently has an electronic focuser on it, a ZWO EAF 5V system. It also has a Takahashi finder bracket and finder holder.
The scope will ship insured in the pictured Pelican case, inside another well-padded heavy duty shipping box.
