Takahashi FSQ-106N Complete Remote Imaging Package - NiteCrawler WR35, Flip-Flat, CTU XL (PRICE REDUCED)

Selling my complete FSQ-106N imaging front end as a turnkey package. This system has been running reliably in my remote observatory in Marathon, TX (Bortle 1/2 skies), and is only coming off the mount because I have upgraded the observatory to a faster astrograph. Everything here was selected and integrated for fully automated remote imaging: motorized focus and rotation, sensor tilt correction, and robotic flats and dust protection. Bolt it to your mount, thread on your camera, and you are imaging.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

1. Takahashi FSQ-106N OTA
The original double-fluorite quadruplet Petzval. 106mm aperture, f/5, 530mm focal length. Legendary flat-field imaging scope with a huge corrected image circle (designed to cover 6x7 medium format film). Optics are clean and excellent: no scratches, fungus, or haze. Cosmetically very good aside from a couple of minor paint chips, shown in the photos. Sliding dew shield operates smoothly. 

2. MoonLite NiteCrawler WR35 Rotating Focuser
The gold standard for remote automation, $2,900 new. 3.5" format, zero-backlash worm drive, 25 lb load capacity, integrated rotator with 0.001-degree resolution. Holds position with power off and remembers position on power-up, so no re-homing between sessions. Full ASCOM support. Includes the Takahashi lower flange (currently mounted to the FSQ) plus temperature probe.

3. Gerd Neumann CTU XL Camera Tilting Unit
Precision fine-thread tilt adjustment for getting large sensors flat corner to corner. Far easier to dial in than push-pull screw designs. This is the piece that makes big-chip cameras sing on this scope.

4. Optec Alnitak Flip-Flat Robotic Flat Fielder (4"-6" OTA)
Robotic dust cover and electroluminescent flat panel in one. USB controlled with ASCOM support and 255 brightness levels. Automated flats at the end of every session and objective protection while parked. Essential kit for remote operation.

5. Tube Rings and Losmandy Dovetail Plate
CNC rings and Losmandy D-series plate, ready to drop onto your saddle.

6. Dew Heater Strap
Included as a throw-in.

CONDITION
All items are fully functional with no issues. This gear comes from a working observatory, not a closet: it has been earning its keep and everything just works together.
