Takahashi FS-60Q fluorite doublet refractor, serial number 2C5039, in the current pale blue finish. Made in Japan. D=60mm, F=600mm with the Extender-Q module installed (f/10). Remove the Q module and it becomes 355mm at f/5.9. Two telescopes in one very compact package.
Included:
- FS-60Q OTA with Extender-Q module
- Takahashi tube ring (clamshell)
- William Optics USA dovetail plate
Condition: very good. No blemishes on the exterior I can find. Fluorite objective is clean and clear — see photo looking down the barrel. Focuser turns smoothly. The textured finish on the focuser housing shows normal light wear consistent with use.
This comes from an inherited collection and I'm not an astronomer myself. I'm describing what I can observe and photograph rather than how it performs. Happy to take any additional photos.
