Stellarvue 130mm Triplet Refractor

Here is a used Stellarvue 130mm Triplet Refractor with a Feather Touch Focuser.  The scope also comes with a Stellarvue 0.72x Field Flattener which will reduce the focal length down to 655mm at f-5.

I am the original owner and purchased this telescope directly from the Stellarvue booth at the 2017 NEAF Conference and drove it back home to Indiana.  As I downsize equipment, the SV130 has become surplus to my needs.  It comes from a smoke-free home.

The scope produces excellent images of planets such as Jupiter and Saturn.  However, please note the telescope is heavy and weighs close to 30 pounds with attached equipment.  It is also front heavy due to the large triplet lens system.

Here is what is included:

Stellarvue 130mm Triplet Refractor
Feather Touch Focuser
Stellarvue 0.72x Field Flattener
Losmandy dovetails on the bottom and top are included.
Stellarvue soft case.

Shipping Costs.
For protection, the telescope will need to be over boxed and “floated” in a shipping container.  Therefore, I will have my local packing store construct a box very similar to Picture #6.

The estimated the overall shipping and insurance costs are in the $200 to $325 range.   The shipping costs may be less if you are located closer to Indiana.

The price of $3,000 includes any transfer fees covered by me.   The buyer would pay the shipping costs in the CONUS.  FedEx Express (non-ground) shipping is most likely required with the declared value of this telescope.

I would be willing to split the shipping costs 50:50. Therefore, your packing and shipping costs could be lower.

However, if you are located in the Indiana or even the Chicago area, perhaps we can meet halfway and totally negate the high shipping costs.

Will only accept money transfer services such as Apple Cash, Cash App, or Zelle.  If you are using any of these apps for payment, I will supply references/names of prior Astromart transactions using Apple Cash or Cash App.

If local, cash is always welcome.

Thanks for looking.
