This lens has a perfect star test at 400x. Standard coatings. 120" focal length assures very low color error, Jupiter is spectacular without the usual color fringe in lesser, faster instruments.
$900 for the lens and cell in perfect as new condition. I waited 10 months, but it was worth the wait. I now have a 8"F12 D&G and a 7.1" APM/TMB apochromat.
I also have available much of the components necessary to complete a folded version, 60" long newtonian-style "Fold-hoffer" (with 5" and 1.5" optical flats), and most of the pieces from the original straight tube design that dissassembled into two pieces. $200 for these components.
Trades considered, looking for FS-78 "C" or other small but interesting APOs, Quantum 4 or other interesting Maksutovs.
