**Sale Pending** - Tak FSQ-106 APO OTA

I have a Takahashi FSQ-106 OTA with the warranty, all paperwork, and the original box. The price is $3000 shipped in the continental US. That's now $550 off of the new price. This is not a standard FS series scope. This scope has been used at well over 150X/inch on the Moon with NO image degradation! This scope includes a built-in camera angle adjuster and a 4" focuser for astrophotography or ccd imaging. This scope is billed as an astrograph by Takahashi. It has two flourite elements for outstanding color correction and four-elements total for a flatter field. The baffling is superb and the contrast is unbelieveable. Tak says the light throughput is >97%. There is no color on Vega at high power. This is definitely a "super-scope" capable of low-power wide-field viewing and imaging at f5. With the optional Tak Extender-Q at f8, a Televue powermate, and a Tak 5mm LE eyepiece, high-power views to well beyond 800X are also within it's capabilities! At only ~26" in length and 13 lbs., this scope is very portable. I also have the Tak 7X50 finder bracket available at an extra cost of $45. I may be willing to trade for a C9.25 OTA and cash or a C11 OTA and cash or a Starmaster El 11 or 12.5 or other 10"-12.5" outstanding quality dob. I want some more aperture to go along with my current assortment of refractors and yet have more portability than my 16" dob.
