At F/8 and 1016mm focal length this is an excellent lunar and planetary scope, binoviewer ready. With a Strehl ratio of .986, it delivers sharp, high contrast views, with no color fringes. The field of view with an APS-C camera is 80 X 53 arc minutes. Excellent for framing galaxies, globulars and planetaries.
At F/6 with the reducer and 762mm focal length it becomes an excellent deep sky imager with a field of view 106 X 71 arc minutes, wide enough for nebulae and clusters.
Rings and handle included, no case, excellent condition. Stellarvue 3" focuser. Telescope + reducer today is $3200. I am 81 and looking to downsize, telescope is not being used now. Substantial discount for pickup, reasonable offers considered.
