The PICs below show a new Heavy Duty Altaz Mount. Mount weight is 38 pounds. Carrying capacity is over 70 pounds. Weight of the 155 binoscope assembly is 73 pounds and it carries that easily. Vibrations damp out in 1/2 second. Very Stable when coupled with a Meade giant field tripod or a Losmandy tripod. Cost is $ 1,800.00 without tripod but comes with a tripod block adapter. Mount is ready for your encoders, both axis have 1/4" bores with 10-32 thumbscrews to hold the encoder shaft. The full 155 binoscope will be available for sale in late fall. Currently the Borg 125ed Binoscopes are available for delivery in 6-8 weeks from order date. Step up to Binoscoping and see what your been missing. No lightloss and added abberations as with a simple binoviewer.
