I'm selling my lightly used Explore Scientific ED127mm f/7.5 Carbon Fiber Triplet refractor OTA (upgraded FCD 100 Glass) with accessories.
I purchased new in 2021. Have only used it four times and has always been stored indoors and in its case. Aside from one small cosmetic scratch near the bottom of the tube (see picture), it is in excellent condition.
No mold, fungus, scratches or blots on the lens. There are a few specs of dust between lenses, but you have to really look to see them and they don't impact viewing or imaging whatsoever.
I'm having to sell off equipment to make room as my family grows.
Includes:
Explore Scientific ED127mm OTA with original accessories - 2" diagonal w 2"/1.25" adpater, 2 extender rings, grip, dovetail bar, 2.5" dual-speed HEX focuser, OEM finder mount, and nylon cover ($2,799)
Explore Scientific 3" 0.7x Reducer - FFFR507X-00 ($399)
Explore Scientific 8x50 Illuminated Right Angle Polar Finder ($199)
Explore Scientific Soft Sided Carry Case ($209)
Custom-fitted Vixen dovetail mounting bracket / finder shoe to replace the OEM mounting bracket
5" Bahtinov mask
All accessories are in like-new condition.
Warranty is transferable from OTA manufacturer.
I spent over $3,600 + tax for the complete setup
Asking $2,000 OBO + Shipping (local pickup preferred)
