I'm selling a Dwarf II Smart Telescope on behalf of my employer, the AAVSO. DwarfLab donated this unit to us in late 2022 so we could evaluate its usefulness for photometric work. It performed very well in that role, but during testing we damaged the SD card slot's insertion / ejection mechanisim causing the card to not click into place and we shelved the unit.
Since then, we've learned that this is actually a fairly common failure mode for this telescope and it has a simple workaround: just glue the card in place or hold it in place with a toothpick. In fact, several weeks ago I used some painters tape to hold the SD card cover in place and it worked fine. Given that the app now allows you to do wireless data transfers, I think this is more of a cosmetic / mechanical annoyance rather than a deal breaker. So I'm putting the unit up for sale on astromart.
Other than the SD card slot issue, the unit is in excellent condition.
