Selling my 1966 Unitron 4" f/15 refractor with tripod and equatorial mount. All the original accessories are included, to my knowledge. The only thing not original is there are no Unitron eyepieces. I purchased 5 new Takahasi 1.25" eyepieces, somes kellners, some orthoscopics. The Takahashi Starbase eyepieces are made in Japan. Specifically, these eyepieces are manufactured by the Kubota Optical Corporation in Hanamaki, Japan, under contract with Takahashi Seisakusho Ltd.
The Unitron includes the Unhex rotating eyepiece turrett. The tripod legs are in great condition, as is the mount. The wood cases are nice. The only wood case missing is for the Unihex. Comes with original Large camera for plate photos. Clock drive included.
Selling for $1800.00 CASH. PICK UP only in Huntington, WV along the Ohio River. I will also take a bank cashier check. I have a bad back, having surgery in a few weeks, so you might want to bring a helper. The cases are fairly large. The telescope is just to heavy for me to work with.
