DESCRIPTION
AT 92EDT Apopochromatic triplet is 92mm, it is 506mm focal length and is f/5.5. It uses a Hoya FCD100 center element in combination with a rear Lanthanum element. The focuser is a dual-speed 2.5" rotating rack and pinion design. The AT 92EDT measures 16.5" long with the focuser and dew shield retracted. The AT 92EDT is a direct descendant of the highly regarded Thomas Back designed TMB-92. This example is SN00132. The objective has minor dust on it that does not affect performance. The dust cap has minor scratches that is purely cosmetic. The rings, focuser, and telescope body are all in excellent shape and are free of scratches or blemishes. This example has been upgraded with a Losmandy 13" rail and has also been outfitted with Stellarvue Risers. This is about $180.00 in accessories.
This example has been used exclusively for astrophotography work however it is also ideal for visual observing. It comes with the original locking hard case, the case dimensions are 20.5" x 9.5" x 9"
