Up for sale is an excellent Astro-Tech AT80EDL doublet refractor (FPL-53/Lanthanum glass) along with its matching Astro-Tech reducer/flattener and a premium padded carry bag.
I bought this recently to serve as a travel scope, but the solid build and high-quality ED glass make it just slightly heavy for my ultra-lightweight travel setup.

Condition: Optics & Mechanics: Glass is in great shape. Like any refractor used under the stars, there is a very light amount of normal surface dust on the objective (please see photos). I never clean the objective to leave it untouched. It has absolutely zero impact on functionality or image quality, and is completely normal.
The dual-speed focuser is incredibly smooth with zero slip.
Cosmetics: The tube and accessories are in excellent cosmetic shape and have been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free home.
