Originally intended for donation to a school astronomy program (by me), it is really more suited for daytime terrestrial spotting as it has a dark "ruby" coating that acts like a moon filter and cuts light down while improving contrast.

I would say "free to a good home" but I paid $50 a month ago. any takers? Anybody got kids and want to get them something better than a Tasco?
