Zeiss collection #7 MAK180-1800

Please note I am being inundated with DMs re the collection -- I will answer as soon as I can. I'm unable to post photos in DMs so please provide email address to receive.

The time has come for me to pass my Zeiss telescope collection on to new owner(s). Some folks are aware of this collection, but for those that are not, I am honored to be the owner of the full set of last generation amateur Carl Zeiss Jena telescopes as shown in the marketing poster attached

Each telescope is complete and independent with the correct tripod and mount and all Zeiss accessories. All scopes and mounts (and where applicable accessories) are in original Zeiss oak boxes, tripods are in tripod bags. Full accessory listing sheets are available for each. Where issued by Zeiss I also have the original “Quality Certificate for Astro-Optics” (C63-800 and the MAK180-1800 certificates not included – not sure if Zeiss every produced them)

For sale will be:

C63-840                Already listed USD10,000

AS 80-840             Already listed USD14,500

APQ 100-640        Already listed USD29,000

APQ 100-1000      Already listed USD31,000

APQ 130-1000      Already listed USD34,000

APQ 150-1200      Already listed USD53,000

Aus Jena MAK 180-1800 Maksutov Reflector (does not have a pier as in the picture.  Has a very rare Zeiss blue metal travel tripod instead)       This listing USD53,000

I am just in the process of finalizing the cataloging of each scope, and will be listing them starting with the C63-840 over the next couple of days.

Please note:

All items are in amazing condition, sold ‘as-is’, I am happy to forward photos, videos, or talk to interested parties.

Sales price does not include any delivery, packaging or insurance. Cost of those will be with the buyer.

No trades sorry.

Of course it would be great if someone wanted to purchase the entire collection 😊

I will not break down a scope from its accessories, so the purchase will be of the OTA, mount, tripod, eyepieces and accessories for each item.

We are based in Central Virginia – if you want to see in person that can be arranged, but serious buyers only please.

Please message on thread or DM me with any questions.
