Unused Takahashi centering tube for Epsilon collimation, part KA00442. Still in the original wrap, with the blue CT carton and the factory instruction sheet.
This is the official sight tube for the Epsilon hyperbolic Newtonians. It threads into the focuser coupling ring. A crosshair is made from the included line across the marks at the end of the tube, then lined up on the secondary center mark. The sheet uses the ε-160 as the example. The method is the same for the other Epsilon models. Primary and secondary need center marks.
Not included: the centering eyepiece (CE). Takahashi pairs the two for a full collimation. This is the tube half only.
New, never installed. Box has normal shelf wear.
