Starmaster 12.5" EL Telescope

This is the telescope that I said I would never sell, but here I am. Purchased this from Rick Singmaster in 1998. Scope is as he built it, not cut up or modified. Carl Zambuto mirror. The red dot finder was changed to a Telrad. Original Paracorr Type 1. Astrosystems cover. Mirror box was custom made by a company in Hawaii, and matches the scope. Only issue I've ever had was that a few years later the original light shroud started to sag- Rick's wife whipped up a new one out of a much better material, no charge. There are a few small scuffs from transporting it to dark skies. A couple holes on the cage when I experimented with a RA finder, now covered with Velcro. If you like visual astronomy, then you will like this telescope. Local-ish sale, $3000 firm, no way would I trust UPS with this.
