Orion Premium DSE 10" Dob *SOLD*

I am the original owner of this 1997 vintage 10" f/5.6 Orion Premium Deep Space Explorer. Scope was made by Discovery for Orion (Not a Chinese import!) This was their top-of-the-line dobsonian model. Pyrex mirror with enhanced coatings is in perfect condition and has never been cleaned, always stored inside with caps on each end of tube. Two inch Crayford design focuser with 1.25" adapter. Includes Telrad finder and the 26mm Sirius Plossl that originally came with the scope. I have made several improvements to the scope including mirror surface fan, flocking opposite the focuser and just above the mirror, rocker box handles, a handle near the tube end to aid in hand tracking, ebony star on the altitude bearings (ebony star was already on the azimuth bearing surface), and milk jug washers around the center bolt of the azimuth boards. I can drive a reasonable distance from the Kansas City metro area, or will ship for an additional $100. Will ship to domestic US address only. The price now is $500. I accept PayPal or money order.
