For Sale: Celestron 114GT -SOLD-

USED Celestron short-tube reflector (4.5", F9, 1000mm fl, 19" OTA length) telescope on computerized, motorized tripod mount (4000 object database). Very nice cosmetically and works fine. Has hand controller similar to Nexstar 8 for self-contained GOTO or remote computer-controlled operation. Comes with all accessories supplied when new (tripod, eyepiece tray, 25mm and 10mm eyepieces, computerized hand controller, manual, Star Pointer finderscope, AA battery holder). PLUS it includes nice footlocker hard case ($100 option). Runs several evenings on one charge using 8 AA NiMH batteries (not included). This is still a current model; check Celestron's website for details. New (discounted) price from dealers is $439 without the hardcase. Has NOT had controller updated by Celestron (seems to work fine as it is), but they will do it at no charge.
