Custom 16" dob with ~1/30 wave primary

Up for sale is a 16” scope that I built using components from Rob Teeter (I built scopes with him many moons ago when we were both in college) but that I have not used in a while. The scope includes the following:

Obsidian optics 16” F4.45 (from the late Mark Cowan) with an impeccable figure and test certificate. Views at the eyepiece match what you would expect given this cert. The primary is matched with an Antares 1/30 wave quartz secondary (cert included). Primary mirror cell is floatation type custom made by lightholder and includes a glatter sling. Secondary holder and spider vane is by astrosystems. Trustpoles are attached using aurora precision QR hardware and the scope has metal Teeter’s bearings 

The scope has dual boundary layer fans, and servocat + nexus DCS that was installed professionally by astrosystems (along with a powered groundboard). There is markless stalk and holder as you can see and the focuser is a feathertouch. 

 I built the UTA with a light trap to help enhance contrast against the focuser and I should have a custom shroud for it as well. The catch is that I have not used this scope in several years - in fact, I got the servocat installed by astrosystems (a few years ago) and haven’t had time to even run it/calibrate it. So who ever gets it should expect to put in a little work to tweak it back to optimum. It’s a shame to have such a scope just sitting around, so while this is hard, I’ve made the decision to let it go to someone who will actually use it. Shipping is not something I want to contemplate so I’d be willing to drive ~350-400 miles from Denver to meet a buyer.
