We currently have a 20" F/3.3 Supremax-33 primary mirror well underway in our shop and available for purchase.
Because much of the work has already been completed, we're offering this mirror at a savings of $2,385 compared with a new custom order.

At F/3.3, this mirror is an excellent choice for a compact 20-inch Dobsonian. The short focal length allows for comfortable, feet-on-the-ground observing while still providing the light-gathering power of a 20-inch aperture.
The mirror is available with only figuring, final testing, and coating remaining. You can avoid much of the normal production wait.
Every Waite Research mirror is individually figured and tested for excellent optical performance. Before the 20" mirror leaves our shop, you'll receive a mirror test report documenting its optical performance, so you can see the quality of the finished mirror. It will also receive a professional protected-aluminum coating and will be center spotted at no charge.

If you're building a compact large-aperture Dobsonian and have been considering a premium fast primary, this is a rare opportunity to get one already well along in production.
A 50% deposit will reserve the mirror, with the remaining balance due when the mirror is ready to go to the coater.
