For Sale, TEC 200mm f/20 Maksutov. Very good condition. Includes removable metal dew cap, cover, rings, dovetail, and ScopeGuard case.
Optics are excellent and clean, no scratches or sleeks. Micrometer focuser is excellent. The tube has one small dent (see photos). The location is just forward of the first knife edge baffle, no effect on performance. Normally the dent will be covered by the tube rings. Also, one small scatch on the outside of the anodized meniscus cell. Meniscus not affected and the scratch is covered when the dew cap is in place.
To avoid altering the tube, I drilled and tapped the tube rings for a 30mm dovetail base. I will include the base or remove it at buyers request.
I would prefer a meet halfway scenario (say, 250 miles for each of us) to avoid shipping, otherwise $4,000 shipped to your door in the conus.
