Rare Super C-8+ w/Byers drive!

Here's your chance to own a rare Celestron 8 telescope! This Super C-8 plus was made in 1985 and was the Celestron VP's scope at the time. It has excellent optics (starbright coatings on optics as well)and offers fine images of the planets. This hard to find C-8 is especially coveted because of the drive; it was made by the highly regarded Edward Byers Company which made some of the best drives on the market. This telescope is in great condition with only a few marks on the black tube and black fork mount and wedge. The very heavy duty fully adjustable (in altitude and azimuth)tripod works perfectly but shows some use with paint chips and a some scratches that occur with normal use. This telescope also comes with an 8x50 finder, the original HARDBOUND manual (wow! in a little case too), star diagonal, AC cord, and original tube cap. The scope really is one of the nicest models ever offered by Celestron.
