For sale: 1990 QUESTAR 3.5" Serial#0-Z-9902-BB. Package includes the fork mounted scope, power cord, front lens diaphragm, 2 Bristol wrenches, off- axis Solar filter, 3-"QUESTAR BRANDON" eyepieces (8mm, 12mm 24mm), 3-peice tabletop leg set, English leather case with two keys. Case, legs, power cord, eyepieces, fork mount and optics are in very good/excellent condition. The only flaw on the scope is a dent on the bottom of the barrel from the previous owner. This dent has no impact on the scope's performance. If the tube covering was delaminating -I would take it off and work the dent out, but the tube cover is very solid. The dent is only noticeable when turning the scope upside down. The scopes tube is a nice "mystic purple". The dew shield is not mystic purple. There is one "ding" on the dewshield (see photo) from maybe when the tube was dented? The bottom plate has no scratches. This scope has the Zerudor mirror substrate and Broadband coatings-optics are in excellent condition. The tracking motor works nice. Except for some cleaning and adding the missing accessories- this is the way I received the scope. If you need any more photos-please message me. Asking $3350.00 for the package. Would like to sell locally so the buyer can check everything out and be OK with the sale. It is a beautiful scope-except for the underside dent. I'm marking this package as "good" because of the dent-otherwise the package would be considered very good/excellent. Thanks.
