For sale is a Meade LX850, 10-inch OTA with a Celestron CGEM-DX with Many Extras
The Meade LX850 comes with a Feather Touch focuser.
Optically it's in perfect condition ( See Images). There is no fungus or scratches optically.
The OTA's body is without any scratch or dings as well.
Pictures show a Click-Lock visual back, it's not included.
It comes with its original Meade metal front cover.
A custom matching Dew Sheild with it own cover too.
Includes a Meade 8 x 50mm finder scope and mount.
Let me take a minute about the Quality of this Meade OTA. It's a Faster f8 and
has Meade's Advanced Coatings. You can't find a better made or performing 10-inch OTA.
Your just have to add your own Astrophotography camera and you are in business.
Astrophotograpy Camera Not Included.
The Celestron CGEM-DX has Celestron's latest software installed.
Original CGEM-DX Keypad in excellent condition. No missing LCD's
and great contrast as well.
CGEM-DX's A/C power supply is includes (Not shown in images)
CGEM-DX's knobs were Upgraded to AMD ones which are much better than OEM ones.
Comes with Two Celestron 23 pound counter-weights.
You will receive 3 storage cases for this entire set-up.
One is a DeWalt rolling tool case with handles for the Meade LX850 OTA alone.
One is a Husky rolling tool case with handles for the CGEM-DX's Mount. I also have the
mount in a Milwaukee tool bag for easier lifting out the case.
One GolfGard rolling case with handle used for the CGEM-DX's tripod alone.
When not in use, all items were stored in these protective cases and stored in a bedroom.
Our home has a whole house A/C unit with humidity control and I'm not a smoker either.
You might see other packages listed here or elsewhere but once you physically see what
I'm offering, I doubt you'll find better at this price for a complete set-up.
I am asking for Pick-Up only due to the extreme weights especially of the mount and tripod.
Obviously, the Meade OTA is a delicate and fragile item that wouldn't survive shipping.
If you have a shipper who would pick-up the items, there is NO way I can cover damages so
Pick-up is HIGHLY suggested.
