Meade LX200-ACF 8" f/10 SCT with Field Tripod + Accessories — Tacoma, WA
Purchased new in 2012. Advanced Coma-Free optics. Single owner, always stored indoors in its original box. Powers up, slews, and tracks correctly.
INCLUDED:
• Meade LX200-ACF 8" OTA and fork mount — original box
• Meade field tripod — included, no original box
• AutoStar II hand controller and power cable
• TeleVue 26mm Plössl eyepiece (original accessory)
• Meade 1.25" Amici prism diagonal
• Orion StarSeek Wi-Fi adapter — original box, works with SkySafari
CONDITION: Like new, as if it came out of a time machine. Used maybe 4 times. I thought I would have more time to enjoy it, but I didn't. It has sat in my house, in its box, for many years, unused. No cosmetic blemishes. The corrector plate is clean, with no fungus or haze. Optics are brand new. Microfocuser and mirror lock [working / add note].
ASKING $1095 for the complete package.
LOCAL PICKUP STRONGLY PREFERRED. I'm in Tacoma, WA, and happy to meet anywhere reasonable around Puget Sound. This is a heavy, fork-mounted instrument, and I'd rather it not go through a freight carrier. If you want to inspect it first and see it run, that's welcome.
Payment: cash on pickup, or PayPal Goods & Services.
Happy to answer questions or send additional photos. Willing to split the StarSeek Wi-Fi out separately if someone wants just the scope.
