Custom Meade 10" SCT

Open tube Meade 10" SCT. The Meade optics are quite good for a commercial SCT. On a scale of 1-10, with 5 being average (good), these are a 8-9 on the star test at 500x. Ronchi eyepiece (250lpi etched glass grating @ 2 bands) reveals straight bands with a clean edge so the overall spherical correction is excellent. The original components came from a professional observatory. Someone sought to convert the original scope into a astrocamera. I rebuilt it. The tube parts were all CNC machined. The optics could use a recoat though the scope is fully functional as is. There is a small "scotch tape" issue (my mistake) on the primary mirror (no glass damage) which has no affect seen in the out of focus diffraction pattern or in-focus. Scope will clearly reveal a clean round .45 arc second airy disk on nights of good seeing. Scope has NO temp issues. Local pickup only. Willing meet within a 250mi radius of Rosamond, CA. Thanks for looking and considering. (Reason for sale? Need funds for another scope project. My hobby is self supporting.)
