Two fans are set up as a push-pull system. The installation is super simple: you just need to remove the original vent filter covers and replace them with the pre-assembled fan units. It uses standard 5.5mm/2.1mm power plug, you can directly connect it to your Celestron 12v power adapter.
The kit for C8 uses two 30mm 12v fans, and the kit for C9.25/C11/C14 uses two 40mm 12v fans. The fans are very powerful and the adapters are designed to maximize the air flow. It cools down the OTA much faster than other options.
The kit just replaces the top plastic vent cover, the fine mesh filter is still there to avoid the dust get into the OTA.
