Celestron Nexstar 8SE Telescope with Extras

For sale is a Celestron Nexstar 8SE telescope in excellent condition with extra accessories. I have used it about a dozen times and it remains in excellent (near mint) condition. It has always been stored in a dry, finished basement. It has really not seen any use in the last year so I am selling and may obtain something more grab-and go. This scope has great optics - much better than what I expected from an SCT. The optics have never been touched by me or the previous owner and are very clean - with a very slight (expected) amount of dust.

Included in the sale:

- Celestron Nexstar 8SE scoep with goto mount, tripod, and 25mm plossl eyepiece
- A/C Adapter
- SkySync GPS accessory
- Vibration suppression pads
- Lens shade
- 2" Celestron mirror diagonal
- 9x50 straight through finder
- High quality scope cover (possibly all-weather - not sure of the maker)

The value of these items new I estimate at over $1700.

Please note that I got the GPS accessory to work early on but then did not use it and had trouble getting it to work later. I read online that the batteries can die in these and you have to replace them to get it to work again. I have not tried this.

I do not have the original 1.25" diagonal nor do I have the original packaging.

I am offering the scope for sale pickup or could deliver within 50 miles. Cash only please.

Note that I used to be an astromarter (5 star rated) but let my subscription lapse so I am not currently rated. I am happy to answer any questions.

Thanks for looking.
