Celestron Nexstar 8SE + extra (pending to Gary)

For sale is a Celestron NexStar 8SE telescope and mount. I purchased it new about a year and a half ago. It is in excellent cosmetic and operational condition (mount mechanics and optics). I have never had any issues with the scope. Gotos have always been very good for me after a good 3 star alignment. This is a great scope and you can see a lot of DSO’s with it’s 8 inches of aperture. I’m actually purchasing an identical OTA to replace it but on a CGEM mount which I intend to use for astrophotography. Mount is excellent for use on other scopes as well like a small refractor since it has the vixen style attachment. As a “bonus”, I’m throwing in an excellent Hyperion 24mm wide angle eyepiece in addition to the stock Celestron Plossl that came with it. I have also installed Bob’s knobs on the scope to make collimating easy although I rarely have had to fool with that.

I’m in the Atlanta area and this package is yours for $950. I will also ship to anywhere in the continental US for $35 extra. I will ship via UPS ground and will insure it to the full replacement value and will also provide a tracking number. I will ship in the original Celestron packaging.

Thanks for looking,

Tim
