My 1 1/2 year old 8SE is now for sale since I purchased an Evo8 from a fellow club member who was getting up there in age and decided to sell his telescope. My scope is in excellent shape. I took it to Starizona in Tucson last month to have my colimination checked out and to give it a good going over. At that time I had no intention to sell my scope.
The scope comes with all the standard items from my original purchase which include:
1 1/4" diagonal
25mm Plossl (81x)
Red dot finder
Celestron visual back
Tripod
Extras:
1. The two Celestron Plossl eyepieces that came with my Evo a 40mm (51x) and a 13mm (156x)
2. Celestron PowerTank Lithium LT - 10 hour supply and charging cable
3. A Hand Control (HC) holder from Starizona that holds the HC to the side but facing you instead of looking 90 degrees to the left as shown in photo.
4. Celestron Mars Observing Kit - 2x doubling lens and 3 color filters
5. Telrad finder (better than the scock finder)
Things you could add:
Wifi
StarSense camera w/tablet or smart phone control
Focal Reducer for photos or just for visual use to make the views wider with 1 1/4" eyepieces
Easier for local pickup but I do have the original packing boxes that the scope shipped with. The box(s) weigh 13 pounds. Ship weight would be 49 pounds. Box size is 24" x 13" x 42" so you can estimate shipping cost should you wish to go that way. My zip code is 85374.
