This is a great setup, I am selling because I am more interested in wider field DSO astrophotography and would like to use the money from selling this to get an imaging newtonian.
Here is a google drive showing additional photos and in higher quality: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1p2QHbCrXjlLg3uXe4S8Jh0vmxvmPhEZ1?usp=sharing
I could also share some pictures I've taken through this telescope and mount upon request.
Comes with everything it came with plus a couple extras:
-OTA (Hyperstar compatible)
-Mount and Tripod
-Visual back
-Star diagonal
-25mm plossl
-3D printed bahtinov mask
-Round bubble level
-All the manuals that came with it
-3D printed DSLR mount (I can share a picture of my DSLR on top of the scope using this mount if you'd like)
-Wire to connect hand controller to computer if you want to use CPWI and an imaging software to image, which is what I used this mount for.
-BROKEN red dot sight, read more
You will need to supply 12v and at least 750 mA with either an adapter or battery.
I can also include the following for additional payment:
Celestron T adapter which has been flocked $15
Celestron Canon DSLR T ring $10
I also have a Celestron focal reducer and Eyepiece + Filter kit listed here on the classifieds if they're not sold when you see this.
What is wrong with this mount and telescope?
-The rubber feet for the mount that rest on the tripod have all fallen off. They can easily be glued on, I haven't myself because I don't have the right glue and they stay in place when the mount is set up.
-As stated earlier, the red dot sight is bent and the battery is rubber banded to stay in place. It still technically works, but I would get a new one, it's not very good even in new condition.
-There is some dust on the primary mirror, some on the corrector plate, I don't notice it in the eyepiece or camera.
-The front cap falls off very easily
-There are "bite" marks on the dovetail from mounting to my other mount.
-The eyepiece's rubber eye cup is torn on one side, still functional. Also, I wrote 25 on the eye piece cap to keep it organized when it was among my other eyepieces, as shown in one of the pics in the google drive album.
I tried to show all these issues in the pictures.
Price is $620 including the paypal fee.
Either local pickup(will drive up to an hour away) or I will ship it(to CONUS) at the buyer's expense which will be substantial. UPS shipping estimate to Los Angeles says $170 for two boxes, one with the mount and OTA, one with the tripod.
Thanks for looking!
