This is the brand new model out. I bought it to evaluate the new mount (removable OTA) with intent on re-selling after the 8SE I ordered arrived. It's been out of the box about 1 week and outside for about an hour to try out the 5" OTA. Everything is in perfect condition (no tampering) and the OTA optics are excellent and perfectly collimated (not touched). Celestron is doing well at getting collimation to stay from factory as the scope comes in an excellently designed triple box layout (see pictures).
Everything is included as when new (25mm EP, 1.25" diagonal, red dot finder, tripod, software, manual, cable, etc). Save $100+ over new. $699.00 shipped (I pay paypal fee) or $640.00 cash (no checks or MO) local pickup. 8SE in pictures not included
. Questions welcome. Thanks for looking. Michael
