I just bought this scope 2 weeks ago! It is in EC like new. I know the first question to be asked is...."Why are you selling it?" I had my eye on the CPC line prior to getting the 4SE and opted for the 4SE since I was a beginner. I, in the meantime, found a used CPC 1100 I really wanted in the begining and I am buying it.
This scope has given excellent lunar views and that of Jupiter and 4 of it's moons as well as Saturn.
This is a great scope and if I had not found such a deal on a CPC I would be happy to keep it.
The scope sells for $599.00 and I have added the following extras since having it such a short time:
Celestron Solar Filter # 94129 for the 4SE (used only once and it works!) Paid $55.00
Gray in color Pelican water proof case model # 1550 with foam insert of course. Paid $125.00
GSO 1.25" 45 degree Amici Diagonal Prism. Paid $25.00
Forgot to add the dew shield I have on the way I will throw in. Paid $25.00
The scope comes with all the components of a new scope to include the 25 mm Plossl E-Lux Celestron EP.
This scope has the StarBright XLT optic coatings with SkyAlign; GoTo feature and if you pull up Celestron's site and link to this model you will see all it's features!
My loss for not waiting to find a CPC 1100 is your benefit.
This package I have put together would cost you $815.00. Even with the $100 rebate you are still at $715 roughly!
The picture is the actual scope and all components. My price includes shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states. No overseas shipping, sorry.
Or if you are nearby you can pick up the scope. I live in the Asheville, NC area and would meet someone within a 50 mile radius as well.
This price I have put on this scope I don't believe can be beat. If it can be beat you may want to buy from whatever source you found.
I will ship UPS insured for full amount of purchase to your door with tracking number provided.
Thank you for looking and don't let this deal pass you by. I am new to this site but I usually sell on Craigslist. I know the types of scams that occur there and hope that is not the case here.
If you pay by personal check allow up to 2 weeks for the check to clear. If you prefer to pay in person you must have cash in hand!
USPS money orders are welcomed but I am a government worker and we will keep it at that
and have postal contacts to verify the money order is legitimate. Sorry for the caution but in my line of work I have seen all types of scams and fictitious money orders. I assure you when you buy from me you get what I describe!
Once any form of payment clears I will ship the item promptly. I do not have the original boxes but will pack the scope itself in the Pelican case and the tripod and accessories separate. Insurance for full amount insures you don't lose on this deal if God forbid it gets damaged.
So once again I thank you for looking and hope we can do business.
