Celestron NexStar 4SE Maksutov Cassegrain, that has seen very little use. The optics are clean & clear, just minor dust on the outside of the corrector plate, otherwise, like new. The OTA is in near perfect condition, with very minor signs of use. There are no scratches, digs or dents. The focuser is smooth with no noticeable optic shift. This OTA also has the flip mirror that can be used for AstroPhotography in a straight through configuration or used with the built-in diagonal for visual use.
The NexStar SE mount works perfectly. The only signs of use is the lettering on the silver label on the battery compartment cover is partly missing. The battery compartment has never had batteries in it. An external power source was always used. The NexStar Hand Controller is in like new condition.
The tripod is also in excellent condition, and includes the tilting altitude tray, so that the scope can be used in Equatorial mode…best for AstroPhotography.
The hard case for the OTA/mount is included (there is some warping in the cover that does not affect function). There is also the padded Celestron Tripod case.
