SOLD! TY to John of Keswick! An all-around awesome person!
Celestron 800 EdgeHD Schmidt–Cassegrain telescope OTA + Extras!
I'm offering my Celestron 800 EdgeHD Telescope (OTA), in absolutely pristine condition, plus a host of incredible extras all for a price that is less than the telescope alone when purchased as new!
This isn't just any telescope (OTA) - this is an EdgeHD. Celestron's EdgeHD optical system combines the compact form factor of the Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope with a cutting-edge aplanatic (flat field) optical design. The result is a telescope that delivers pinpoint star images and astounding astrophotography performance across a wide field of view. This kind of quality is what makes EdgeHD the choice for discerning amateur astronomers and astro-imagers.
Condition: Just like new! Absolutely no scratches or signs of wear and tear. This scope has been used less than 20 times - an opportunity to own a virtually new, top-of-the-range telescope for a fraction of the retail price.
Currently sells for $2160.00 CDN or $1350 USD
What is included?
- Celestron 800 HD OTA (91030-XLT) (everything included from the original kit)

** Q&A **
Q. Are you the original owner?
A. Yes, I purchased everything from All-Star in Calgary back in 2017.
Q. Why am I selling?
A. I live in a small condo in the city... I over-purchased, so it was taken out just a few times. The sale of this scope is intended to finance my new and much lighter telescope.
Q. What is the condition of the equipment?
A. Probably indistinguishable from brand-new! Not only do I take good care of my equipment, this scope was barely used!
Q. Are you willing to ship?
A. Maybe the OTA, but I much prefer a local pickup. For my American neighbors, I am willing to drive and meet the buyer at Peace Arch Park (north of Blaine, Washington), but I will require a pre-payment to avoid a long trip for nothing.
Imagine the savings! And, you're getting a virtually new telescope!
Please, serious inquiries only.
Note: I am also selling other astronomy components, such as the matching CGEMII tripod and mount for this scope. Willing to do a combined deal. See my other ad(s).
