I am selling my very good/excellent condition Celestron EdgeHD 8" optical tube. This was from a Evolution 8 package kit but, the mount and tripod have already been sold. The optics are very clean and have never been touched. I am pretty sure the colimation is off as I switched to the Bob'S knobs for the colomiation screws and never got around to resetting it. Should be a 5mins task for someone with a basic understanding of the process. The tube will include the original finder, a 1-1/4" star diagonal and a 40mm Plossl eyepiece. I have upgraded the focuser to a feather touch and installed the Tempest fans to accelerate and maintain a cool primary mirror. The original focuser and vent covers will be included. I am also adding a Celestron dew shield and unopened Bhatinov mask designed to fit the scope.
Price is $1250.00
Shipping in continental US only.
Buyer pays shipping and handling and paypal fees.
I prefer Paypal but a local cash sale is possible as well.
Clear skies and thanks for looking!
