My Celestron EdgeHD 8'' OTA has been wonderful the dozen or so times I used it, but I've gravitated more towards wide-field astrophotraphy vs telescope setups. I'd like to sell this to fund more camera gear.
It's in great condition and is free of dents, dings or scratches and the optics are clean.
All original accessories are included including the mounting rail, 1-1/4 star diagnoal, 50 mm finderscope with mounting bracket, 40 mm Plossl eyepiece, lens cover and owners manual. I'll also include the Lens shade, a celestron 51630 star pointer (attached), the celestron eyepiece and filter kit (the extra scope in that picture is not included, selling that seperately with my autoguider), and a Canon T-ring (although may be useless to you).
I'd be willing to drive a ways to meet halfway if you're in central or southern California. If you want me to ship it, I'll request that you pay the shipping fee. I don't have the original box so I'll pack it carefully...would prefer to do in person though for less risk.
This sale is for OTA only - mount is not included.
Let me know if you have any questions.
