Celestron 8" orange tube with special coatings (SOLD)

For sale is a Celestron Orange tube, vintage 1980, with special coatings and the following accessories:

Tony White was the previous owner of the scope, and he commented that the optics were the best he had seen in any 8" orange tube. I can verity that the optics are indeed excellent, with very pleasing planetary images and an excellent star test.

The front corrector has two marks from dew, and both the corrector and primary have small amounts of dust. This in no way affects the image quality, and the dew marks can easily be removed with a simple cleaning. Overall the scope is in excellent condition. The scope has very little focus shift, and I've taken a few shots with it myself. The moon shot below is such an example.

$600 shipped. The only reason I'm selling this scope is to finance a big dob. I prefer paypal, and will take Money Orders and Cashier Checks as well.
