Celestron 7" (180mm) f/15 Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube, model #91012. 2700mm focal length, StarBright XLT coatings. A long-focal-length planetary and lunar instrument.
Included — all original to this scope:
- 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA
- 8x50 straight-through finderscope with bracket
- 2" visual back with 1.25" adapter
- 28mm 2" eyepiece
- Celestron padded bag
- Celestron Dew Shield
Condition: very good. No dents, dings, or paint loss I can find on the exterior. Looking down the tube with a light behind me the optics appear clean and clear. There is some light dust on the outside of the corrector plate which I have deliberately NOT cleaned — I'd rather a knowledgeable owner handle that than risk the coatings myself.
This comes from a collection I inherited, and I'm not an astronomer. Everything above is what I can see and photograph rather than what I know from using it. Ask me for any additional photo, from any angle, and I'll take it before you commit to anything.
