PRICE REDUCED: This gently used Celestron C11 OTA is an excellent instrument and holds collimation remarkably well. It provides spectacular views of the moon, planets, globular clusters, planetary nebulae, dim galaxies and other DSOs. It comes with a FeatherTouch focuser (a $350 upgrade), a 9x50 finderscope, a Telrad finder that can be mounted in two positions (two mounting bases on opposite sides of the scope - very handy when using an equatorial mount), a 2" visual back as well as a 1.25" visual back, a CGEM style dovetail bar and a long Vixen bar on top. Also included are an AngelEyes flexible dew shield and a soft carrying case with wheels.
This is a large scope and is offered for local pickup only, in Santa Monica (Los Angeles metro area) or in Ojai, CA.
Optional extras are:
• A pair of 4.25" Losmandy rings for a guide scope: $60
• 2" SCT diagonal with 1.25" insert: $50 (v.g. condition with pristine mirror)
• A carry grip with two aluminum Vixen saddle clamps: $55.
