Vintage Celestron Classic C8 (8" SCT) Telescope Package - Clean Optics & Accessories
Up for sale is a complete, well-cared-for vintage Celestron Classic C8 (8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain) telescope bundle. The optics have been cleaned and aligned, providing excellent visual clarity.
The optical tube assembly (OTA) has been deforked for convenience and upgraded for modern mounting, but the full original fork mount, AC drive, and wedge are included to keep the original setup complete. I unfortunately do not have the power adapter for the vintage clock drive, and I did not keep the very bulky original vintage tripod.

Celestron C8 OTA: Glossy black finish, upgraded with a Vixen-style dovetail bar, modern finder shoe clamp, and a Telrad adapter plate (Telrad optic not included).

Mount & Wedge: Original die-cast fork arms, AC synchronous drive base, and heavy-duty wedge.

Carrying Case: Fitted hard case with protective padding, latch, and original key.

Barlow Lenses: Japanese-made 2.8x University Optics Klee Barlow (highly collectible orthopedic lens) and a 2x Barlow lens.

Eyepieces & Accessories: Vintage Japanese eyepiece, Celestron 10mm and 17mm eyepieces, 45° erect-image diagonal, T-adapter for astrophotography, Moon filter, collimation cap, original 6x30 finderscope with bracket, and Celestron accessory bag.
Great setup for lunar/planetary visual observing or astrophotography setup on a modern equatorial mount.
