Change is inevitable. I've enjoyed this SkyShed POD for 15 years and have watched the trees and construction take over our neighborhood. Recent construction is now blocking my NE view and trees to the SE now reach 45 degrees above the horizon. So, I've decided to sell the POD. It's been a great home for my solar rig.
Cosmetically, I give it an 8/10. Some oxidation on the hardware; but it functions smoothly. Tan walls and dome. New the single-bay (XL1) PODS sell in excess of $4k. Does not include PZT. Some extra hardware, such as wheels, included. Currently, bolted to a 10x10 wooden deck. I haven't moved it in 15 years.
Obviously, Pick-up only (Carlsbad, CA). I'll assist in deconstruction, loading, and set-up at buyer's location (within a reasonable distance).
Now asking $1000.00, OBO
(pier and Losmandy G-11 mount also available at a negotiated price).
Thanks for looking
